This is the easiest latik recipe. Made simply from coconut cream, latik is toasted coconut curds that are crispy, crunchy, and a little chewy and compliment an array of Asian desserts and dishes.

  • 2 cans Coconut Cream Regular coconut cream

Instructions

  • Pour coconut cream into a non stick pan over low medium heat.

  • Bring to a simmer. Stir often. Watch the coconut oil separate from the coconut curds. Keep stirring.

  • Simmer and stir till the latik (coconut curds) become deep golden brown.

  • Strain over a wire mesh strainer.
