Oil the Dutch oven or cast iron pan. Place the salmon in the pan and put in the oven, middle rack, uncovered. Bake for 8-9 minutes adding a little time if the filet is very thick.
¾ tbsp avocado oil, 1 lb salmon filet
Change oven setting to broil. Broil for last 2-3 minutes.
Pull the pan out and let the salmon rest for several minutes. The oils should be sizzling. After few minutes, garnish generously with scallions and black & white toasted sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!
