Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dragonfruit or one whole dragonfruit
  • 3 tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • ¾ cup Water
  • Ice

Optional

  • ¼ cup White grape juice adds more sweetness like the Starbucks version
  • 1 tbsp pink freeze-dried dragonfruit like the Starbucks copycat version; adds pink color

Instructions

  • Heat the water and dissolve the sugar into the warm water. Let it cool down.
    ¾ cup Water, 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Blend the dragon fruit with the sugar water.
    1 cup Dragonfruit
  • Pour the dragonfruit mixture into a tall glass and add the lemon juice. Mix well. Fill the glass with lots of ice. Enjoy!
    Ice, ¼ cup White grape juice, 1 tbsp pink freeze-dried dragonfruit, 3 tbsp fresh Lemon Juice

Notes

Adjust the amount of dragonfruit you use for more or less lemonade, adjust the sugar to preference, and enjoy some variations listed in the above article.
  • choose ripe and fresh dragonfruit
  • use lots of ice
  • be sure to dissolve the sugar in water first as specified in the recipe
  • add pink freeze-dried dragonfruit or use pink flesh dragonfruit for a more colorful drink
  • add green tea for caffeination
