Ingredients

Salad Ingredients

  • 1 head of Romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup red cabbage very thin sliced
  • 1 cup fresh carrots cut like matchsticks or julienned
  • ½ cup peanuts or almond slivers
  • avocado slices garnish

Miso Salad Dressing

  • 1 tbsp miso paste this recipe uses red miso, but you can use light miso as well
  • 2 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tbsp fresh lemon juice fresh squeezed is a must

Instructions

Make Miso Salad Dressing

  • Combine the dressing ingredients and whisk very well until completely mixed.
    1 tbsp miso paste, 2 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar, 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil, 1 tbsp honey, ½ tbsp fresh lemon juice

Make Miso Crunch Salad

  • Combine the lettuce, red cabbage, and carrots.
    1 head of Romaine lettuce, 1 cup red cabbage, 1 cup fresh carrots
  • Top with nuts and avocado garnish.
    ½ cup peanuts or almond slivers, avocado slices
  • Add the dressing.
    Serve and Enjoy!
