Ingredients

  • ¾ cup coconut Greek yogurt plain or lightly sweetened
  • ½ cup cold regular coconut milk
  • 2 tsp maple syrup or agave nectar adjust to taste
  • a pinch ground cardamom optional but gives it that authentic lassi twist
  • Ice cubes about 1/2 cup for that slushie texture
  • To garnish: shredded coconut mint leaves, or fresh lime wedges
  • Optional
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple or mango for tropical flavor

Instructions

  • Add coconut yogurt, frozen fruit (if using), coconut milk, sweetener, and cardamom to a blender. Heat the coconut milk and cool it down if it is too solid.
    ¾ cup coconut Greek yogurt, ½ cup cold regular coconut milk, 2 tsp maple syrup or agave nectar, a pinch ground cardamom
  • Toss in ice cubes and blend on high until smooth and frothy.
    Ice cubes
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness as needed.
  • Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with shredded coconut or mint. Sip and pretend you’re on a beach in the Philippines.
