  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add the chilled heavy cream.

  • Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the cream on medium-high speed until it begins to thicken.
  • Add the confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract and continue to whip the cream on high speed until soft peaks form. Be careful not to over-whip the cream, as it may become grainy. Stop as soon as the stiff peaks form.
    2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
  • Once the desired consistency is achieved, use the Chantilly whipped cream immediately or refrigerate it until ready to use.
